30 Rock is an American satirical sitcom television series created by Tina Fey that originally aired on NBC from October 11, 2006 to January 31, 2013. The series, based on Fey's experiences as head writer for Saturday Night Live, takes place behind the scenes of a fictional live sketch comedy show depicted as airing on NBC. For those who enjoyed the first season of '30 Rock', Season 2 is a worthwhile purchase, but do expect one or two misfires during the series. Coming up just as soon as I'm no stranger to the art ofjapery.There are episodes of '30 Rock' that manage to blendquasi-human plots about Liz or Jack with the zany antics of everyoneelse at 'TGS' and make them all feel like part of the same show, but'Floyd' never quite pulled it off. The return of Jason Sudeikis as Floydgave Liz one of her more down-to-earth and relatable stories in awhile, but it felt like a complete tonal mismatch from the war betweenThe Pranksmen and The Silver Panthers, and especially from one of theweirder (and dumber) Tracy/Jenna plots I can remember.
