The chances of being selected as one of those 36 is slim.Before the draft, analyst Rebecca Lobo and reporter Holly Rowe held a phone press conference with members of the national media to talk about the upcoming draft:It’s the hardest professional league to make in terms of the percentage of people that play. There’s 144 jobs when every team is carrying a full roster. Beginning this season, not every team will be carrying a full roster of 12. A couple teams will have to have 11 until a certain point of the season when the salary cap will allow them to fit 12.

But her size, strength and quickness allowed her to get to the hoop and really establish a drive-and-kick game this past season as well.QUICK GLIMPSE AT THE DALLAS WINGS:The Wings (10-24) finished 10th overall in the league in 2019.Dallas is a very young team, but no shortage of talent.

With a generational talent like Sabrina, the Liberty are looking for an extended championship window that'll be lead by New York's 2020 draft choices.Ionescu will start in the backcourt with Team USA teammate Asia Durr, who finished her rookie season averaging 9.7 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 26.7 minutes per game. Dunn suffered a hip injury that caused her to sit out half the season.

She can create her own shot, and more importantly, create for others. If defenses double Sabrina off the pick-and-roll she'll find the open teammate for an assist. There's a reason she's college basketball's all-time leader in triple-doubles and the only player to record 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, and 1,000 assists.Being thrust as the savior of a New York basketball franchise may seem like a daunting task but this is familiar territory for Sabrina. When she stepped foot in Eugene, Oregon, the Ducks women's basketball program hadn't made the NCAA Tournament since 2005 nor had a seed higher than fifth since 1984.She's leaving Oregon having led the Ducks to three consecutive Elite Eights, three Pac-12 Championships, two Pac-12 Tournament Championships, a Final Four and the second-overall-ranked team in the nation before the season was canceled abruptly.Additionally, former-Liberty player and Naismith Hall of Famer Rebeca Lobo called Ionescu in New York.To me she's a perfect fit for New York.
