Find ClassesThe Florida Babysitter Training course from the American Red Cross is designed those ages 11 to 15, and is delivered in a traditional classroom setting. With caring, compassionate, knowledgeable instructors who can help you understand the proper techniques for caring for infants and children, you can become a more capable, confident babysitter.At the Red Cross we offer two online Florida babysitter certification classes: Babysitting Basics, and Advanced Child Care. These courses are delivered entirely online and are designed to help you better care for the infants and children in your charge. These courses allow you to train at your own pace making it easy to become comfortable with the material in each section before moving on to the next.In our online Advanced Child Care classes you'll refine your skills as a babysitter and receive advanced training in leadership, child behavior and discipline, professionalism, safety, child care and more. These babysitting classes in Florida are not intended for state-licensed child care providers and do not meet all state requirements for such certification.The American Red Cross offers babysitting training in Florida and across the country.

In partnership with the nationally recognized babysitting course, “Smart Kids: Babysitting 101”, boys and girls ages 10-14 can participate in this two day camp that will give each babysitter hands on training with the children in our childcare center, which makes our babysitter training camp a unique experience, unlike any other!
